The Indian Railways has invited applications for MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff) posts in commercial departments of Northern Railways. A total of 118 posts are vacant. The eligible and interested candidates can apply for the post through the official website www.indianrailways.gov.in.
These recruitments will be carried by the RRC (Railway Recruitment Cell) instead of RRB. Major vacancies like a loco pilot, JE, Technical are handled by RRB and Group D and some Group C level are managed by RRC. The recruitment drive under RRC is of low pay grade as compared to RRB.
A detailed notification including educational qualification, technical qualification, exam fee, age, and general instructions will be available on the official website from 14th September 2019.
