RRB JE (Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer) the notification was released on 27th December 2018 and the candidates who applied for the RRB JE exam by filling the application form from 2nd January to 31st January 2019 can successfully download the admit card which will be released 10 to 15 days before the exam.
The Indian Railways will recruit Junior Engineers after three years span. After 2015, now the notification has been released for more than 2000 vacancies and the number of posts for JE is about 13,034 vacancies.

Selection of candidates:
The candidates will be selected by 4 step process namely Computer-based test I and II, Document verification, and Medical Examination. The candidate’s first need to appear for the CBT-I that is an MCQ’s test and those candidates who qualify the CBT-I will have to take CBT-II and who qualify the CBT-II will have to appear for document verification, and the candidates who get their documents verified have to appear for the medical examination.
Admit card:
The candidates who have applied for the exam of RRB JE can download the admit card from the official website. The procedure to download the admit card is as follows:
- Visit the official website indianrailways.gov.in
- Click on the link of RRB JE call letter.
- Enter the Registration number given in the application.
- Click on the submit button.
- The admit card of RRB JE 2019 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a print out of the admit card of RRB JE 2019 for future use.

Guidelines relating to admit card and other instructions:
- The admit card is the essential document that a candidate should produce on the date of the exam.
- The candidate will not be allowed to write the exam without the admit card.
- The admit card is needed in all stages of the exam.
- The candidates must bring two colour photos of size 3.5cm ×3.5cm with clear image without wearing cap or sunglasses.
- The candidate should also bring photo Id- Aadhar card/PAN card/driving license etc
- SC/ST candidates who want to avail the free travel authority should bring their caste certificate while travelling, as the reservation clerk would verify the authenticity of the claim.
- The candidates are not allowed to take any calculators or gadgets inside the exam hall. If any of these items are there with the candidate then their candidature will be cancelled.
- The candidate must clearly go through the instructions given in the admit card. Not complying with the rules can result in the cancellation of candidature of the candidate.
- Just the issue of admit card will mean that the candidate is selected.
