Computer Based Test (CBT) Stage 1 of RRB JE examination for the year 2019 will be conducted tentatively in the month of April-May. RRB will conduct exams for various posts like Junior Engineer, Junior Engineer (Information Technology), Chemical Metallurgical Assistant and Depot Material Superintendent. The selection process for RRB JE will include CBT stage 1, CBT stage 2 and Document Verification/ Medical Examination.
The candidates who get qualified in the CBT stage 1 will be allowed to appear for the stage 2 examination and then for the Document Verification/ Medical Examination. The candidates who qualify in all the above-mentioned stages of the examination will be selected for the post of RRB JE. In order to prepare for RRB JE and any of the competitive exams, it is important to be aware of the exam pattern which is as follows:

The total time duration for RRB JE examination is 1 hour and 30 minutes. There are 5 sections in the exam and each question carries one mark. As a negative marking, 1/3 marks allotted for each question will be eliminated for each wrong answer.
