The Indian Railways is the fourth largest Network in the world and is operated by the Ministry of the Railways. The Railway Recruitment Board Group D was conducted from September 17 to December 17, 2018. More than 1.17 crore candidates have attempted the exam and are waiting for the results now.

The Indian Railways has announced a vacancy of 60,000 for the level- 1 posts or for Group D posts. The selection procedure for RRB Group D exam includes
- Computer Based Test:

The Computer-based Test is an online examination with 16 regions participating for the year 2018. The total time duration for the RRB Group D exam was 90 minutes. There were 4 sections in the CBT. There were no separate timings for the written examination. There were also negative markings for the examination.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
The candidates who qualify in the written examination will be allowed to appear for the PET. Here, there will be separate tasks for both male and female candidates. The candidates qualifying in both the stages will be called for the Document Verification process.
The candidates will be asked for certain documents for the reference purpose of the authorities in the DV process. once the candidates have submitted the required documents, they will be shortlisted after the certification. The final result for the Group D examination will be announced after the document verification only.

The results for the Group D examination will be declared online on the official website. Following are the steps required to check the results for the exam:
- Visit the official website of the RRB – http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/index.php
- Visit your RRB regional website for viewing the Group D Result
- Then, go to the latest announcement section after that you will be directed to the result section
- Provide the following information on the result page:
- Registration number
- Date of Birth
- Now the RRB Group D results will appear on the screen

After viewing the results, save and download the result and take a print copy of it, so that you can use it for your future use.
The candidates whose name and roll numbers are mentioned in the result are declared as qualified in the CBT. Then they will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test.
