RRB conducts exam each year for various posts in order to recruit the candidates for the jobs in Indian railways. The RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot)/ Technician stage 2 examinations were held on January 21 – 23, 2019. A huge number of candidates have appeared for the exam for a total of 64,371 vacancies for both ALP and Technician posts.

But for some of the candidates, due to technical problems the exams were held on February 08, 2019. The candidates who have written the ALP examination will be eagerly waiting for their results. The results for ALP exam are expected to be released on the first week of March 2019 on the official website of RRB.
Until now there are no updates regarding the exact result announcement date on the official website. But the results are expected to be announced so soon and the candidates must wait patiently for the result.

The candidates who are qualifying in the stage 2 examination will be allowed to appear for the next round which will be only for the Loco pilot posts.
The final merit list for the RRB ALP exam will be prepared by the exam Board on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the written exam.
The candidates must follow certain steps in order to view and download their RRB ALP examination Result.
They are as follows:
- Go to the official portal of RRB
- On the home page, click the RRB ALP & Technician CBT stage 2 result link
- Select your exam zone
- Provide the following details:
- Registration number
- Password
- The result will get displayed on a new page
The result will be declared zone wise on the official website. The candidates can view and save the result page. Also, they can take a print copy of the result and save it for future reference.
The result will contain the roll number of the candidates who have cleared the RRB ALP examination. After the result announcement, the scorecard will also be published containing sectional as well as the aggregate scores.
The candidates who clear the minimum cutoff for the exam will be declared as qualified and will be allowed to appear for the further process in the recruitment. The cutoff marks are the minimum marks required by the candidates in order to get elected for the next round and it will be fixed by the exam authority itself.
After the stage, 2 exams of RRB ALP, will follow the CBAT (Computer- Based Aptitude test) and the document verification process which will be the final step in the recruitment for RRB ALP. The candidates who qualify all the above-mentioned stages of the exams will only be qualified for the RRB ALP posts.
