RRB conducts various exams each year to provide numerous opportunities for the candidates who wish to work in the Indian railways’ department. There are a total of 26,502 vacancies for RRB ALP posts for the year 2018-19. The exam pattern for RRB ALP will comprise 4 stages. First will be CBT (Computer Based Test) which will be held in two stages- Stage I and Stage II, followed by Computer-based Aptitude Test (Relevant Trade) and Document verification will be the final round for shortlisting the candidates for the RRB ALP jobs.
The candidates who have successfully applied for the RRB ALP examination will be eligible to appear for the RRB ALP exam.

The recruitment for the RRB ALP process will involve 4 stages. They are as follows:
Stage I CBT:
The CBT Stage I exam will be will be held for a period of 1 hour with four sections which will have one mark for each question and the candidates qualify in this stage will be allowed to appear for the next stage of the examination.
Stage II CBT:
The stage II exams will be conducted in 2 parts with Part A and Part B and both the Parts will be conducted on the same day. A total of 2 hours and 30 minutes will be provided for this Stage of the exam. Part B of the Stage II exam will be qualifying in nature.
CBAT and Document Verification process:
The Computer-based Aptitude Test will be available in English and Hindi languages and the candidates must score a minimum of 42 marks in order to get qualified for the final round of the recruitment process.
The document Verification process will be the final stage in the RRB ALP recruitment process. the candidates qualifying in all the above-mentioned stages of the exam and submitting the necessary documents as required by the Board will be recruited for their respective jobs.
