The Preliminary Examination for the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Assistant Engineer (AEN) 2019 was conducted from December 16 to December 18, 2018. The results for the same were released by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) on July 18, 2019. A total of 12800 candidates from the Civil stream and a total of 1200 candidates from the Mechanical/ Electrical Stream have managed to qualify the RPSC AEN Preliminary Examination 2018.
The unusual thing about the results of the preliminary examination was that Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has set higher cut off marks for the SC, ST and OBC candidates than the general category.

The Mains Examination of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Assistant Engineer (AEN) is not going to be postponed and the examination is scheduled to be conducted on October 9, 10, and 11, 2019. There has been a lot of buzz on social media regarding the cut off marks set by the examination conducting authorities. Many candidates have been wanting the RPSC AEN Mains Examination 2019 to be postponed.

Followed by several court hearings, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has finally decided to allow the candidates from the reservation category that have scored more marks than the candidates from the general category for the RPSC AEN Mains Examination 2019. More than 5000 candidates that were not qualified for the Mains examination earlier because of the higher cut off marks are now considered eligible to appear for the RPSC AEN Mains Examination 2019 and the examination is scheduled to be conducted from October 9 to October 11, 2019, as decided earlier.
However, the RPSC has also released an extended result for the RPSC AEN Preliminary Examination 2018 that comprises the roll numbers of the reservation category candidates that have scored more marks than the general category candidates. The admit card for the same is expected to release online this week.

Candidates that have not been qualified the RSPC AEN Preliminary Examination 2018 earlier are advised to check the RSPC AEN Preliminary Examination extended results by visiting the official website of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC): rspc.rajasthan.gov.in. Step 4: A list of all the circulars and notices will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Click on the link ‘Extended Result (by court order) for RSPC AEN Preliminary Examination 2018’
Step 6: The link will be redirected to a new webpage and the extended result will be displayed on the screen, use Ctrl+F to search for your roll number
Step 7: Download and print the result if your roll number is displayed in the extended result list
