The result for RPF will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates and the marks secured by them in the written exam. In order to clear the CBT in RPF, the candidates must clear the minimum cutoff marks as fixed by the authority. The cutoff marks will depend on the difficulty level of the exam, the number of candidates appeared for the exam, previous year trends etc. the candidates clearing the cutoff will be selected for the next level of the selection process in RPF.
PET (Physical Efficiency Test) is the next process in the RPF selection process. The candidates clearing the CBT will be allowed to appear for this test. The candidates must compulsorily qualify in the PET in order to get selected for the next level of RPF. Here, both male and female candidates will be given certain tasks like running race, long jump, and high jump. The conditions to perform the tasks will be different for both male and female candidates. Also, for Sub- Inspector and Constable Posts the conditions will vary for both the category candidates. The candidates performing properly will be allowed to appear for the next round in RPF.
Document Verification is the final step in the recruitment process of RPF 2018. The candidates who have cleared the PET will be called for the Document Verification process. Here, the candidates must submit certain documents that will be used by the exam conducting authority for reference purpose. Failing to produce the necessary documents by the candidates then it will result in the cancellation of the candidature. The final merit list based on all the selection process will be released on the official website as a merit list.
The name or roll number of the candidates which are mentioned in the merit list of RPF will be declared as shortlisted for the jobs.
