A button on voting machine with option “None of the above” to reject all the candidate contesting in an election. How many of political parties will support this stand of supreme court and moreover how many of us will go against to all.?
Till now we were align to choose a candidate if we are using our right to vote but now we have “Right to reject” using our right to vote if we don’t feel that a candidate is good to be a leader. But people should now more about it an what are the advantages of choosing this option as people in rural area will not be much aware of this right so to make this voting stander effective we need to aware ever one.
This stand will force the political parties to project a clean image candidate as a contestant in election and with the count of None of the above votes we will come to know that what people think about the candidates in any area with this some erudite s suggested if NOTA count has more than 50% of the total vote count for a seat then there will be a re-election ( I am not aware yet that what if NOTA wins every time for a seat voting should keep going in that case.) but as of now NOTA count will not be consider so it will not affect the election result so if you going to choose NOTA then better don’t go to vote for as we not here to give a character certificate to a candidates.
Well select or reject both is in our hand an considering this i would like to say that now the election definition has changed from elect to elect-neglect an so now its ele-neglection . Any how this will make some effect on the system if NOTA count will be taken in consideration. Will see the impact in coming election in Delhi,MP,Chhattisgarh,.
