Registrations for the CP
Star and Allen Champ, meant for meritorious and academically brilliant
students, have begun. Career Point Institute of Kota has announced CP STAR (Career
Point Scholarship Test for Admission and Reward) for meritorious and needy students of
class 6th to 12th and 12th pass.
Career Point’s Directors Om Maheshwari, Pramod Maheshwari, Naval Maheshwari and
Shailendra Maheshwari have unveiled the poster and booklet of CP STAR and
officially launched the event.
On this occasion Career Point’s Director Om Maheshwari said that
“Since 2009, we are conducting this examination for worthy and financially deprived
students to help them in fulfilling their dreams. This year, apart from Cash
Prize, Free coaching and Free Hostel facility, some motivational awards shall
also be awarded like Laptop, Mobile Phones, I-pad and Watches. Last year, more
than 4.5 lacs students had taken the examination and more than 16 thousand were
benefitted.”
This year, more than 18000 students of class 6th to 12th and 12th pass will be awarded with total cash
prize of more than 1 crore and scholarships worth more than 36 crores. 50
students will get the opportunity to take free coaching and 130 students will
get free hostel facility with us. Further, every class topper of each school
shall be entitled to attend 4 days in Champions camp, to experience academic
excellence through various workshops and seminars for future competitive exams.
Selected students shall also be awarded with Science Proficiency Certificate by
Career Point University. All the students of class 7th to 12th pass who secure first rank at All
India Level shall be entitled to get cash prize of Rs.10 thousand to Rs.1 lac
along with free coaching and hostel facility. In addition first ranker in each
category shall be awarded with Laptop, second ranker with Smartphone, third
ranker with i-pad and 4th to
10th rankers with
watches as motivational awards.
Shailendra Maheshwari, Director (Academics), Career Point said
that the pattern of the exam shall be multiple choice questions with two
sections; scholastic aptitude and mental ability. For class 6th to 10th, scholastic section will have questions
of Science, Math and Social Studies and class 11th to 12th pass, Physics, Chemistry, Math or
Biology. Second section will contain questions of mental ability as per the
respective class. Students of class 12th pass from commerce and agriculture
stream will also be allowed to take the examination for the first time. The
test paper will be of 240 marks with 60 questions each of 4 marks. The test
dates are 26th Sept,
10thOct, 31st Oct
& 1st Nov in
different parts of the nation.
All those students who qualify second round of NTSE, Olympiad
and KVPY are entitled for Rs 1 lac as cash prize, free coaching and hostel
facility through nomination without taking the test. They will be given direct
entry called STAR Entry.
While registrations have also commenced for the ALLEN Champ
2016, Allen Institute has launched ALLEN Champ program’s 3rd Edition to Honour the students of
classes 5th to 12th as National Champions.
According to Brajesh Maheshwari, Director, ALLEN Champ is
India’s most unique honouring & Mentoring program through which the academically
brilliant students studying in classes 5th to 12th will be honoured for their International,
National and State level academic achievements.
He also said that each class topper in ALLEN Champ will be given
a cash reward of Rs 1.5 Lakh. The Top 10 rank holders in every class will be
rewarded by Eminent Personalities during a National Level Honouring Ceremony,
with exciting Prizes ranging from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 21 Thousand cash, Gold
& Silver medals, monthly scholarships, trophies and certificates. Along
with the top 10 students in every class, their parents & schools will also
be honoured. Also, each student clearing the Nomination & Verification
Process will be awarded with Silver Medal and Certificate.
How a Champion will be selected?
Apart from performance in prestigious National/ International
Examinations, Events, Olympiads, etc, the students will also be analysed for
their academic knowledge, aptitude, skills, exposure and language proficiency.
Thereafter, 10 best students from each class will be shortlisted and invited
for the Champion’s Day where they will compete in a final round of activity for
their final Ranking.
