The online and offline re-registrations for the January 2020 semester for all undergraduate/ postgraduate students of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will begin today, i.e., October 14, 2019. Candidates who prefer the online process can visit the official website to submit their re-registrations. The closing window for the same is mentioned as November 30, 2019, by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
The process of registering for the next year/ semester in advance even before the submission of assignments or appearing for examinations is termed as re-registration. Only the students that are already part of any undergraduate/ postgraduate program of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) are eligible to apply for the January 2020 semester re-registration.
According to the official website of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), the re-registration portal will be activated shortly today.
Apart from the information related to the January 2020 re-registrations released recently, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has earlier released the tentative date sheet for the term-end examinations (TEE) that is scheduled to be conducted in the month of December 2019.
According to the tentative date sheet, the December 2019 TEE (term end examinations) will be held from December 2 to December 30, 2019. To appear for the December 2019 TEE, candidates should submit the required assignments before the deadline.
Candidates failing to do so will not be considered eligible for the term-end examinations that will be held in the month of December 2019. The last date for the submission of December 2019 TEE application forms has been extended until October 20, 2019. Candidates missing the deadline can apply until October 31, 2019, by paying a late fee of Rs 500. Post which candidates will have to pay a late fee of Rs 1000 and the last date for that is November 5, 2019.

How to apply for the re-registration of January 2020 term
The link for the re-registration process of the January 2020 term has not been activated yet though online registrations will begin today. According to the official website, the portal will be activated shortly. Candidates can follow the below mentioned stepwise instructions to complete the re-registration process, as soon as the link for re-registration is activated by IGNOU.
Step 1: Visit the official website of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU): ignou.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Register Online tab and select Re-registration from the drop-down list to proceed further
Step 3: You will be redirected to the login page, log in using the required credentials
Step 4: Once logged in, select the course you have opted for from the dropdown list
Step 5: Check the dialogue box to proceed further to the payment page
Step 6: Make the payment for the term fee through the preferred online mode
Step 7: Once the fee is paid, download the receipt and take a printout of the application form for further use
