The Department of Education, Rajasthan shall be meeting soon to determine the exam conducting bodies, and nodal agencies for the forthcoming BSTC 2020 and PTET 2020, as per reports. The pre-D.El.Ed entrance exam BSTC, and the 2 year B. Ed entrance exam PTET were respectively led by the department of education, and Government Dungar College Bikaner latestly. Simultaneously with PTET, the exam for BA B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed was also carried by the same college.
Earlier, PTET used to be carried by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswathi University, Ajmer. Whereas Govind Guru Tribal University (GGTU), Banswara had led the BSTC exam.
The respected education minister Govind Singh Dotsara, higher education minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati, and additional officials will be there along with delegates of various colleges and universities.
As per reports, the names of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya Ajmer, and Maharshi Dayanand Saraswathi University Ajmer have appeared as two contenders for being the nodal agencies of the exams. However, the final determination will be taken after the meeting.
Latest PTET and pre-BA BEd, BSc BEd registrations commenced on February 14 and closed on March 18. And the admit card for the same exam was issued on May 2, and the exam was held on May 12. In the same month, Dungar college announced the result on May 30. Counselling concluded in August.
For BSTC, the application form was open from March 18 to April 20. The admit card was published on May 17, and the exam was on May 26. The result was declared on the same day as that of PTET, which is May 30. For pre-D.El.Ed, which was first known as Basic School Teaching Certificate, stating after the fifth allotment ended very late, on November 13, 2019.
It is anticipated that by January or February 2020, the final decision on the matter i.e. who will lead Rajasthan BSTC 2020 and PTET 2020 will be taken and unveiled to the public. The notification shall include the exam date and the registration timeline.
The initial reports will appear in newspapers, after the release on the official websites of the education department of Rajasthan. The earlier websites of BSTC that is www.bstc2019.org and PTET that is www.ptet2019.org are not presumed to be continued as they were directed by the previous nodal agencies. Supplementary nodal agencies will launch new websites for inviting applications.
