The total number of applications received by the Railway Recruitment Board for the RRB NTPC posts are 1,26,30,885. This recruitment is to fill 35,208 vacancies. The vacancy is for graduate-level students. The highest recruiter in the country in India Railways. Last year India Railways created history with the application of 1.89 crore candidates.

The exam date and the admit card were scheduled to be released this month but due to the high number of applications the board will take at least a months’ time to scrutinise the list and released the schedule. The board is occupied with JE, ALP and other examinations conducted by the board.
RRB also decided to change the examination conducting agency. The RRB NTPC exam will be held in three parts, CBT 1, CBT 2 and interview. The final selection of the applicants will be purely based on their performance in CBTs separately and then the meeting cum interview.
