The Railway Recruitment Board RRB has issued an important notice on all the regional RRB official websites. The important notice issued by The Railway Recruitment Board is in regards to the fake news circulating in the social media about various recruitments, admit cards, official notifications and results of the RRB recruitments. Wrongdoers are creating PDF documents that look similar to the official notifications and circulating them on the world wide web. Individuals get confused about the notifications as it is hard to make out whether the notification is official or fake.
To clear this confusion among the government job aspirants, RRB has issued the important notice on all the official regional websites of the RRB stating that candidates should not believe any updates/ news about the RRB notifications unless and until it is published on the RRB official regional websites. RRB advised the candidates to visit the official website of the RRB for any updates about the exams, results, applications and official notifications about RRB recruitments. The Railway Recruitment Board had to take the initiative to spread the awareness about the fake news as these keep trending and go viral on a daily basis.
RRB has released an official notification and started the selection process for RRB ALP (CEN 01/2018), RRB Group D (CEN 02/2018), RRB JE (CEN 03/2018), RRB NTPC (CEN 01/2019), RRB Paramedical (CEN 02/2019), RRB Ministerial (CEN 03/2019), RRB Group D (RRC CEN 01/2019) from the year 2018. The selection process for all of the above-mentioned notifications is still ongoing. The fake news circulated for RRB NTPC, RRB JE, and RRB Group D is the most among all the RRB notifications.
There are some individuals creating video content about the RRB notifications with photoshopped images and fake information as well. Recently, two fake notifications about the examination date for RRB Group D has come to light. However, with the help of minute differences like the font of the text and languages, it was easy to conclude that the notifications are fake. The main problem with these fake notifications is the time and energy of the candidates that are being wasted by going through them.

Whenever you come across any news about the RRB notifications, follow the step-wise instructions to verify whether the news is fake or genuine.
Step 1: Visit all the RRB official regional websites to check for the update/ notification
Step 2: If you don’t find it on the official websites, hit the refresh button, clear cache and cookies as sometimes the information does not get updated on the page due to the page cache
Step 3: If you see the notification upon refreshing, then the news is genuine and if you still don’t then probably it is just fake news
