The Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board (PWSSB) was established in the year 1976 under the Punjab Act no. 28. It was established for the purpose of regulation and development of drinking water supply and sewerage services in the urban areas of the Punjab State. Prior to the formation of PWSSB such services were being performed by the Punjab, PWD, Public Health Department.
The Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board has invited candidates for the post of General Manager. The details of these vacancies are as follows :

Remuneration: For non-pensioner – Rs. 1,25,000 per month plus other benefits. The salary will be increased by 10% at the end of one year.
For pensioners – Rs. 1,25,000 per month plus other benefits.
Maximum age limit : The candidate’s age must not exceed 64 years.
