The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has started providing admit cards for the MD/MS entrance examination through it’s website. The candidates appearing for the MD/MS January 2017 session entrance examination on November 20, will have to download the admit cards by providing their log in details on the website.
Candidates need to log in at the website by providing their log in id and password, which they had received at the time of registration. Once, they are logged in, they need to take printout of the admit cards for the entrance examination. Medicos must keep in mind that without the admit cards they won’t be allowed to take up the theory examination on November 20.
8,818 eligible medicos are taking the examination for the 148 seats in 20 different streams of MD/MS courses in PGIMER. The examination is scheduled to take place at various test centres across Chandigarh.
It is advisable to take out the admit card well before the last date (November 20), as they can ask for changes (if needed) in the admit card details before the examination. In case of any technical problem the candidates can write to pgimer@applyforexam.com with mentioning their registration number, name and date of birth.

- November 21: Declaration of the written examination result
- December 9: First round of counselling
- December 10: Second round of counselling
- December 20: Third round of counselling
- December 27: Fourth round of counselling (if seats remain vacant)
