The Power
Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), is an Indian state-ownedelectric utilities company
headquartered in Gurgaon,
India. POWERGRID transmits about 50% of the total
power generated in India on its transmission network. Its subsidiary company, Power System Operation
Corporation Limited (POSOCO) handles
power management for Power Grid. POWERGRID also operates a telecom business
under the name POWERTEL.
The PGCIL has invited candidates

Maximum age limit (as
on 31-05-2015) : Candidate should not be more than 28 years old.
Essential
qualification : Candidate should possess M. Tech./ MS/ ME / M.Sc (Engg)/
IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) in Power System or equivalent . Candidates should
have minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in B.Tech/ BE/ BSc(Engg)/ IDD/ AMIE.
Method of selection : Selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of shortlisting based on
academic background and personal interview.
