The Academy Awards or The Oscar is
an annual award ceremony which is announced and honored every year in various categories
for excellence in cinematic achievements. The 87th annual awards
presented by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) which honored
the best film of year 2014. The ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre in
Hollywood, Los Angeles on 22 February 2015. “Birdman” won the Best
picture and Best Director award at the 87th annual Academy Awards.
