NTA JEE (Mains) 2019 Registrations Open
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. The JEE (Main)-2019 will be conducted twice before admissions in the next academic session.

This Examination was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018. JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board.
NTA JEE 2019 Important Dates
The first attempt of JEE (Main) – 2019 will be held in January, 2019 whereas the second attempt will be held in April, 2019. The test will be held on different shifts/dates in both the attempts.
The NTA will release the application form of JEE (Main)-2019 for the first attempt in September, 2018 and for the second attempt in February, 2019. JEE (Main)-2019 first attempt result will be declared by 31st January, 2019 and for the second attempt by 30th April, 2019.
Eligibility
Age Limit For appearing in the JEE (Main)
There is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed XII examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing in 2019 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) Examination – 2019.
Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination (QE) for appearing in JEE (Main)
Only candidates who have passed their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2017 or 2018; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2019 are eligible to appear in both January, 2019 and April, 2019 JEE (Main)-2019 Examination.
Number of subjects in the Qualifying Examination (QE) for appearing in JEE (Main)
Candidates must have taken minimum five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main)-2019. The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE (Main)-2019.
Eligibility for Admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating through Central Seat Allocation Board
Admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board will be based on All India Rank subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination
Scheme of Examination for JEE (Main)
JEE (Main)-2019 will be conducted in the following pattern:

Note:
- The Paper-1 (B. E. /B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programs offered by the IITs.
- Based on the performance in Paper-1 (B. E. /B. Tech.) of JEE (Main)-2019, number of top candidates as per the requirement of JEE (Advanced) (including all categories) will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2019.
- Admissions to IITs will be based only on category-wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Advanced), subject to conditions as defined in JEE (Advanced)–2019 website.
How to Apply for JEE Main
Candidates have to apply for JEE (Main) January – 2019 “Online” ONLY. The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted, in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.

Application Instruction
Step-1: Fill in the online Application Form and Note down the system generated Application Number
Step-2: Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph and Candidate’s Signature
Document Upload Instructions
Candidate’s Photograph (jpeg/jpg format) | between 10 kb–200 kb |
Candidate’s Signature(jpeg/jpg format) | between 4kb – 30 kb |
Step-3: Make payment of fee using SBI_MOPS and keep proof of fee paid.
Step-4: Print at least four print out of Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee
NTA Test Practice Centres for Mocks
National Testing Agency (NTA) has established a network of Test Practice Centres spread all over India to help the students aspiring to appear in examinations to be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. The students can practice before the examination for the “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode of examinations via mocks at the TPCs.
