Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, NMIMS, Mumbai has successfully completed its online entrance examination, NMAT-2010 second day in a row, claimed the institute today. The test is being conducted at 51 centres in 19 cities across India by Pearson VUE testing agency. According to a Press statement issued by the NMAT Admission Committee on January 31, 2010 (day 2) of the test, “Over 5,500 candidates had tested successfully for the first ever Computer-Based Test for admission to the management programs of NMIMS nationally till the end of the second session on day 2.”
The statement went on to say that the tests were conducted without any problems at all centers as per plan and the NMIMS observers and teams from Pearson VUE testing agency were working closely with each other to continue the smooth conduct of NMAT 2010 over the remaining days.

“NMIMS reminded the candidates to carry their primary and secondary IDs in original to make the process of admitting candidates into the test centre even faster.”
“This is the first year that the NMAT has gone online. Nearly 40,000 test takers are taking the test in India, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore and Sri Lanka. The two hour test is designed on a multiple-choice question format that includes a set of questions in Language Skills; Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency; and Logical Reasoning.”
“The test was held in Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur and Lucknow in North; Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Nagpur in West; Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin and Hyderabad in South; Allahabad, Bhopal, Indore and Raipur in Central India and Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata and Patna in the East.”
