Shubham
Badal, currently a final year B. Tech student at NITK Surathkal, has created a
search engine application that has been successful on multiple platforms across
the world.
CybrHome,
the application Shubham has created with two of his friends, provides information
from top websites in a topical manner so as to allow easy discovery of
information. The application has been accepted by Facebook for the FBStart
programme, allowing them to use $30,000 worth services and Facebook tools for
free. The app has also won Microsoft’s BizSpark sponsorship for two years, and
has emerged in the top 25 student start-ups at Tata-FirstDot powered by NEN.
Shubham,
an ex-student of Allen Career Institute, informed that CybrHome is a portal
where people can create a profile to store and bookmark the websites they have
liked and use it to find the top websites, blogs & apps for any specific
purpose.
