National Institute of Fashion Technology is a group of fashion colleges in India. NIFT was established in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and is an institution of design, management & technology for the international fashion business.
NIFT was granted statutory status in 2006, empowering it to award degrees and other academic distinctions.
National Institute of Fashion Technology has issued notifications for recruiting eligible candidates to the posts of Junior Hindi Translator on contract basis for a period of 5 years with a possibility of regularization. Essential Qualification
I. Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level.
OR
Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level.
OR
Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level.
OR
Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level.
OR
Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the Degree level.
II. Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or 2 years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office.
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates for all the posts would be made on the basis of the performance of the eligible candidates in the following:
