From what PaGaLGuY saw at Prometric Testing Pvt Ltd. in Goregaon, Mumbai today, most medicos were largely disappointed after the morning session of Day 3 of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) 2017.
The medicos said that the paper was lengthy and filled with image-based questions. “There were a lot of one-line questions, the answers of which were tricky,” said an applicant who didn’t wish to be named.
The paper comprised of 300 multiple choice questions, which had to be answered in under 3 hours 30 minutes. The exam started on December 5 and will continue till December 13.
“The paper was moderately difficult. You can say around 130 questions were easy, 100 questions were moderately difficult and the rest were difficult,” said Dugga Kanti Sahai, a medico taking the NEET-PG examination from Orissa.
The centre that we visited had around 250-300 students giving the exam in the morning session, and no technical glitches were experienced as per the response given to us.
The NEET-PG examination is taken by MBBS graduates who wish to pursue MD and MS courses in various colleges across the country. The selected candidates have to go through a counselling process to finally grab a coveted seat.
