The cut off score has been lowered by 10 percentiles for the admissions to the undergraduate dental courses (BDS). The score for cut offs is completely based on the marks scored by the candidates in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, https://ntaneet.nic.in/ .
The qualifying percentiles or cut off for the BDS courses have been taken mutually by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Dental Council of India.
The general category candidates can now take admission with the qualifying marks as 40 percentiles for the BDS courses. The qualifying marks for SC, ST and OBC categories are 30, and for PwD candidates, it is 35.
The notification regarding the lowering of the percentile has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The cut-off score has been lowered earlier by six percentiles in the month of May. Candidates can look into the official website for more updates and timely information.
