The Round 1 seat allotment results for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), 2016 will be released tomorrow, August 28, 2016 on the AIPMT official website . Candidates scoring the required cut off marks in this year’s NEET exam, were allowed to participate in the seat allotment procedure.
Candidates who have been allotted seats in the desired institutes need to report at the institute between August 29 to September 3, to confirm their seats. Candidates who haven’t been allotted seats of their choice, can apply for Round 2 of the seat allotment procedure, beginning from September 9, 2016.
Admissions to government medical and dental colleges are currently underway, based on NEET scores of the candidates. These admissions are only for 15% All India Quota, while rest of the 85% seats in medical colleges will be filled by their respective state board authorities.
