National Institute of Technology, Manipur – Cutoffs for 2015

The JEE 2015 Seat Allocation process for the NITs (National Institute of Technology) is finally over and the NITs are scheduled to begin their academic year in the month of August. So, let us now take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks in 2015 for the different NITs. Candidates were finally selected to the NITs on the basis of their performance in the JEE Main 2015 and their performance in the Class 12 exam. This was also the first time that the NITs were a part of the Joint Seat Allocation Process that involved other reputed institutions like the IITs, ISM Dhanbad, IIITs and Other GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

In this article, let us take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks for the National Institute of Technology, Manipur.

NIT Manipur started its first session on 1st August, 2010 with the three branches of Engineering-Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. It is presently functioning in its temporary Campus at Takyelpat, Imphal. The institute has acquired 341.5 acres of land in Langol, Imphal. Different development programmes have been undertaken for establishment of well-equipped laboratories and library, expansion of computer facilities.

At the undergraduate level (B. E. / B. Tech.), this institute offers 150 seats in 5 different branches. Selections to these seats is done on the basis of a student’s All India Rank in the JEE Main 2015. 5.The list given below mentions the opening and closing ranks of students across different categories that were selected to the various courses at this NIT in 2015.
