The National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE), Indian Council of Medical Research, Chennai has invited applications for temporary posts for the project titled, “Process evaluation of IMNCI in India” in 8 states (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Rajasthan). The details of this are as follows:

Project assistant – Statistics 16 Rs 27,945 per month
Project assistant – Social Science 08 Rs 27,945 per month
Minimum educational qualification and experience required:
For Post No. 1 – Three years graduate degree with Statistics (major or minor) with 1 year of experience in health related research or health related field/ programs. Proficient in reading, writing and speaking the local language of the respective state.
For Post No. 2 – Three years graduate degree with Social sciences (major or minor) with 1 year of experience in health related research or health related field/ programs. Proficient in reading, writing and speaking the local language of the respective state.
Age limit: not exceeding 30 years (age relaxation as per Government of India rules)
Duration: 06 months
