When you think of Engineering and Coaching, which are the names that come to mind? Bansals, Narayana, Allen, SriChaitanya, Resonance, Rao IIT Academy, Career Point, FIITJEE, Physicsgalaxy, Vidyalankar, Pace to name just a few.
Well, the big news is that these and many more are all going to feature in someway on PaGaLGuY. To begin with, we already have the owners and mentors of some of the biggies writing for us.
Managing Director Mr Ashish Gupta of the Kota-based Bansals had a lot of compelling things to say about coaching classes in a two part series.
The first part spoke about how parents and society are sadly forcing young minds, to choose engineering as a stream and enrol in classes even as young as 11. According to Prof Gupta, at that age, children should be playing out in the sun and having a plethora of academic choices to make.
The other article by the same author is on the commercialisation of the engineering coaching industry.
Besides the lifestyle articles, PaGaLGuY is also getting you some devoted academic stuff. Prof Ashish Arora, who is the Academic Head at Allen Coaching Centre in Jaipur and Chief Mentor at PhysicsGalaxy is going to be writing twice a week for those wanting to understand concepts more clearly.

We are trying to cover every aspect of a to-be engineer’s journey. Read for instance for Sudheer Gowtham has to write about the constant mismatch between jobs and skills.
In due course, we will have many more mentors and a variety of faculty, writing prep and motivational stories to help you make better education choices.
Alongside, we are also tapping the IITs, NITs and other top engineering institutes because what happens within the walls of these hallowed institutions will also help make informed decisions.
IIT Bombay has a whole series of articles on PaGaLGuY. Read on on the eternal struggle for space at the institute and another on the famous bus stop 8 – all to get a flavour of this erstwhile edifice.
There are other private institutes also participating. Prof Pankaj Jalote, who is the director at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi has also shared his blog.
And for this season specially, there are a whole list of articles that you can use, since they come with information on expected cut-offs.
So, there is a whole lot of stuff happening for engineering aspirants and students on PaGaLGuY. Articles by Prof R.L Trikha, Director at the FIITJEE coaching and Prof Pramod Maheshwari, founder of Career Point will be up soon.
