The Ministry of Culture has invited applications from eligible candidates for the appointment of Library and Information Officer Group A, non-ministerial at the National Museum, New Delhi. The details of the posts are:
Post – Library and Information Officer
Essential Education
- Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Library Science or library and information Science from a recognised University/ Institution
- Candidates must possess five years of experience in a Library under the Central Government or State Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisation or Public Sector Undertaking or Universities/ Research Institutes.
Eligibility –
- Candidate must be an officer in the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertaking or recognised Research Institution/University/ semi – government / Statutory / Autonomous Organisation.
- Must hold analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre / department OR
- Seven years of service in pay band 2 or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department
- Ten years of experience in pay band 2 or equivalent in therapist cadre/ Department
Remuneration – Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 per month + GP Rs. 6,600
Age limit
Candidates should not be more than 56 years old.
