MHT-CET rule regarding marks verification highlighted in the image above
MHT-CET 2016 students have been given 4 days starting from June 2, to verify their marks if they feel there has been a discrepancy in their score. However, the verdict of the verification may not be released before mid-June. Now students who have or wish to register for CAP may have a miss waiting for the verification verdict to be released.
The rule book uploaded by DTE Maharashtra on its official website states that students whose marks have been improved after verification will be allotted seats based on their refreshed scores but only from the next round of allocation. This means that a student who could have bagged a seat in a reputed college in the first round of allocation may lose out on that seat because the verified scores will be released after the allocation round.
