The average salary for PGPM was Rs.12.50 lakhs. The highest domestic salary this year was Rs 20.21 lakhs, as compared to Rs 16 lakhs last year, and the highest international package was 575000 Hongkong $ (Rs.29.43 lakhs). 42 pc of the batch was recruited equally in Banking and Financial Services sectors. 16 pc of the batch preferred FMCG, and 14 pc going to the IT sector. The PGPM batch was recruited in companies including AIG, Asian Paints, American Express, Axis Bank, Barclays, Bausch & Lomb, Bharti, Citi Group, Coca Cola, Colgate Palmolive, Ernst & Young, Essar, Glenmark, Glaxo SmithKline, Goldman Sachs, Heinz, HT Media, HSBC, ICICI, ICICI Securities, IDFC, iMacs, ITC, Johnson & Johnson, J P Morgan Chase, Macquarie Bank (Australia), Proctor & Gamble, Pepsi, Phillips, Reckitt Benckiser, SBI Capital, SEBI, Standard Chartered Bank, Tata Sons & Yes Bank.
The average salary for PGHR was Rs 11.29 Lakhs. The highest domestic salary offered was Rs 14.00 lakhs and the highest international pay package was 1,83,800 Dhs (Rs.19.80 laks). The lowest package offered was Rs 7.75 lakhs. 20 pc of the batch was recruited in consulting domain. 48 pc of the batch was recruited equally by three sectors namely, Manufacturing, Banking and FMCG. Major recruiters for PGP-HR batch included Ernst & Young, Hewitt Associates, Mercer consulting, Bharti, Glenmark, Tata Sons, Tata Steel, ICICI, ITC, Reliance ADAG, Pepsi, Protiviti (Dubai), RPG and Sharaf (Dubai).
The first batch of PGIM was placed successfully. The average salary was Rs.11.88 lakhs. The highest domestic salary was Rs. 14 Lakhs and highest international pay check was 87,729 Swiss Francs (Rs.32.88 lakhs). Approximately half of the batch (49 pc), was recruited by IT sector and another 18 pc by Financial Services. Also, Consulting and FMCG recruited 5 pc each. Recruiters for PGPIM were represented by companies like Avalon, Brainmatics, Cairns, Nissan (France) and SAP VE. Job profiles at offer included Finance, Consulting, IT, Sales and Marketing, General Management and Operations.
