IIT-BHU’s annual fest, “Kashiyatra” is back and set to take place from January 20th to 22nd, drawing in participants from over 360 colleges across the country. This event is a grand celebration of culture with a rich history of showcasing the diverse talents of students. The festival will feature performances by Darshan Raval, a Comedy Nite on Day 2, and Raftaar on Day 3. Along with these, the fest will include events such as Abhinay – The Dramatics Event; Bandish – The Indian Music Event, Crosswindz – The Western Music Band Event, Toolika – The Fine Arts Event, Enquizta – The Quiz Event, Mirage – The Lifestyle Event, Natraj – The Dance Event, and Samwaad- The Literary Event.
Kashiyatra is excited to present the International Carnival, providing a stage for students to showcase their talents. During this three-day event, the campus will come alive with a variety of performers including visual artists, singers, beatboxers, dancers, magicians, graffiti artists and more. The event will also feature local artists from Varanasi, adding to the vibrant cultural landscape of the city and the rich heritage of BHU.
The past editions of Kashiyatra have proved to be successful with overwhelming international outreach. Previously, talented artist’s voml m.cmmmc 0 like Ritviz, Local Train, Amit Trivedi, Salim-Suleman, Zakir Khan, and many others have performed at the mega stage of Kashiyatra. With a head count of attendees crossing the mark of 80k, it is one of the largest cultural festivals in India. The legacy of BHU adds to the glory of Kashiyatra and attracts attendees to the festival. Aiming to promote different global cultural traditions, Ksshiyatra proves to be an excellent opportunity to showcase one’s talent.
