The High Court of Madras wishes to appoint law clerks who would be assigned to the Hon’ble Judges (both at the Principal seat at Madras and at the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court) on temporary basis. The details of the vacancies are as follows:
Post – Law Clerks
Period of Contract – 1 Year
Age limit – Candidates must be below 30 years of age at the time of receipt of application.
Eligibility
(i) Interested candidates must possess a Graduate degree in Law from a recognised university/institute and must be recognised by the Bar Council of India for admission as Advocate or Attorney of an Indian Court.
(ii) Candidates must have cleared all of their examinations in their first attempt.
(iii) Candidates must have not obtained their law degree more than two years prior to the date of this recruitment notification.
Remuneration
Rs. 7, 500 per month (under revision within the ceiling of Rs. 25,000)
