February 2013 CMAT scorecard as visible to aspirants
A link leading aspirants to the scorecard of the Common Management Admission Test February 2013 emerged one day before the actual results were due tomorrow i.e. on March 13, 2013. However, SS Mantha, Chairman, All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE), rubbished the claim saying that the organisation has not released the results yet.
He added that the final results will be released by 8 PM tonight. In the meanwhile, he would look into the matter. A point to be noted here, however, is thata few minutes after PaGaLGuY had this conversation with Mr Mantha, the page leading to the alleged results of CMAT February 2013 was taken down and is no longer visible to candidates. (We however saved a screen shot of the page).
Although the scorecards look genuine enough, there are two flaws that stand out. Firstl, the alleged scorecards do not carry a photograph of the respective candidates, a detail which was present in the previous scorecards. In addition, all they all have the same time mentioned in the slot titled Date of Test, i.e. 12:00 AM.
When confused candidates called the CMAT helpline, they got no response on the other side. After a number of tries, Rushin Mehta, a CMAT aspirant, finally got through to a CMAT helpline number, where he was told that the results are fake and the final results will be released on March 13, 2013 as scheduled earlier.
