LIC HFL (Life Insurance Corporation Housing Finance Limited) is one of the top Government-owned, Housing Finance Company in India. Its registered office is at Mumbai. The exam will be in English language only. There will be penalty for the wrong answers. One-fourth of the mark assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at the score. If the candidate did not answer any question then there will be no penalty given.
LIC HFL have the right to fix the minimum cut off marks section wise as well as on total in the online exam in order to finalize the number of candidates to be called for the interview.
The candidates who qualify the online exam will be called for interview. The candidates will be shortlisted for interview on the basis of number of vacancies and the candidates who rank the top of the merit based on the respective marks in the online exam for the post. The candidates who do not obtain the minimum qualifying marks will be disqualified in the interview and also for further selection.
The shortlisted candidates for interview have to produce all the original documents for verification. In case if the candidate called for the interview is found not satisfying the eligibility criteria (age, educational qualification, etc) then the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
The final merit list and selection of candidates will be done on the basis of combined marks of online exam and interview strictly according to the merit ranking subject to minimum qualifying marks in the interview.
The selected candidates have to undergo the medical test and will be appointed for the post subject to the candidates being found medically fit by the medical examiner authorized by LIC HFL for the purpose.
For Assistant manager post, the candidates who are selected, there will be a training period of one year from the date of joining. The appointment to the post will be subject to successful and satisfactory completion of the training period, according to LIC HFL.
