On 30th September 2016, LIBA signed a Letter of Cooperation (LOC) with Bharatiya Yuva Shakthi Trust (BYST). The BYST was established in 1992 and is on a development path, to foster a nation-wide mentoring movement through business volunteering, specifically to “turn job seekers into job creators” and to become a role model for “Youth Entrepreneurship Development through Mentoring” both in India and several other developing countries.
The LOC facilitates joint activities for promoting entrepreneurship among BoP segment, incubation of tiny and micro entrepreneurs and skill enhancement, where necessary. Initiated by C.K. Prahalad Centre for emerging India, and aligning with incubation support and CSR activities of LIBA, the LOC provides engagement opportunities for faculty, students, alumni and researchers in supporting first generation entrepreneurs to succeed in their ventures. The LOC was signed by T. Victor Joseph Chairperson, BYST and Fr. Christie Director, LIBA.
