After hosting a successful annual management conclave, it was time for the annual management and cultural fest-Kritva’15 at IMI, New Delhi. Witnessing an active and enthusiastic participation from students across India and around the world, it stood true to its theme of “International Swadesi”.
The three-day
fest commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony and an address by our chief guest
for the evening, Mr. Jatin Ahluwalia, Founder & CEO of Seven3Rockers
Technologies and a distinguished alumni of this institute, and by Padma Shri
Dr. Bakul Dholakia, Director General IMI, New Delhi. A heartwarming performance
by the children from the NGO-Jamghat received a standing ovation from the
audience and was the highlight of the ceremony. Adding glam and charm to the
evening were the Dance and Music Society of IMI New Delhi, which set the
standards high for the fest. Shedding all the barriers of regionalism and blending
harmony into the night were the International Exchange students, who
enthusiastically participated in the events.
Expressing his
delight and pride on being a part of the IMI family, Mr Ahluwalia said,
“The collective hunger and aspiration for growth is what will take you all
to pinnacle in your careers. I am proud
to be a part of this institution that has helped me grow on both personal and
professional fronts.”
Kritva’15 saw an
exuberant participation from various B schools across the country in several
management events like Arthneeti, Pitch Please, Excalibur, FinCharades and many
more. Events like Rangmanch, DancOvation, Flamboyance gave students an
opportunity to showcase their dramatic, musical and fashionable self. At IMI,
New Delhi it has been an initiative to inculcate social sensitivity in all its
students which got reflected in the form of events like Sangam, the mini
marathon and Samadhan, the CSR planning event.
Kritva Nights
kept the campus buzzing with enthusiasm with students dancing to the tunes of
DJ Kunal. Kritva’15 came to an official close with Nikhil D’Souza’s live
concert wherein the crowd was seen shaking their legs to some of his popular
numbers.
After the boardroom
experience of management events and the fun filled evenings of Kritva Nights,
this three-day fest came to an end. The dreamy eyed students now relish those
days and eagerly await Kritva’16.
