NCERT conducted the 2nd level of National Talent Search Examination on 10th May, the results of which were announced on Friday, 11th Sept 2015. A total of 857 students from all over the country have qualified for the NTSE Scholarship, the list of which was made available on the NTSE official website.
According to Brajesh Maheshwari, Director, ALLEN Career
Institute, 121 students of class 10th from ALLEN’s Pre Nurture and Career
Foundation Division have been selected for this prestigious scholarship, out of
which 112 students are from classroom and the rest 9 are from the distance
learning programme. Out of the
135 students selected from the Rajasthan state, 65 students (48 %) are from
Allen Institute, he claimed.
As per Head ALLEN Pre Nurture & Career Foundation Division,
Amit Gupta,” the cut off list hasn’t been announced on the official website of
NTSE due to which various students and parents are still in doubt.”
Resonance Eduventures Private Limited also claimed a total of 60
students in NTSE Stage-2. Nilesh Gupta, Head of the Prefoundation Career Care
Programme, Resonance Eduventures Private Limited said that while 35 students
are from Kota Center, 5 of the selected students are from its Jaipur center, 12
from Udaipur center, 3 each from Jodhpur and Ajmer centers and 1 each from
Lucknow and Ahmedabad. He informed that all the selected students are classroom
students of Resonance.
The students selected on the national level will receive a
monthly scholarship of Rs 1250 during their 11th and 12th.At the graduate and
post graduate level, the students will enjoy a scholarship of Rs 2000 per
month.
In the 2nd level of NTSE Examination, 50 questions belonged to
the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and 100 were of the Scholastic Aptitude Test
(SAT). 50 questions were also asked from Language Comprehension.
Recently, the Human Resource Development Ministry of the country
has announced NTSE scholarships to 2000 students in NTSE 2016 as compared to
this year’s 857 students.
