Sharvik Mittal at the 48 International Chemistry Olympiad, Tbilisi, Georgia
Kota coaching institutes have excelled at the 48 International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2016 held at Tbilisi, Georgia with Utkarsh Gupta of Resonance Coaching Institute clinching the Gold Medal and Sharvik Mittal of Allen Career winning the Silver Medal.
Utkarsh Gupta was a student of Resonance Institute at its Kota Study Centre for four years (Class IX to XII). He was declared as the AIR 17 (General) in JEE Advanced 2016. The young boy gives credit of his success to Resonance and adds, “I appreciate Resonance faculties and its unique teaching methodology and test patterns and I am grateful to RK Verma and team for their constant guidance and moral support.”
RK Verma, Managing Director, Resonance Institute said that these kinds of Olympiads were designed with the aim to increase the number of international contacts and the exchange of information between nations.Meanwhile, Allen Career Institute’s student, Sharvik Mittal bagged the Silver Medal.
According to the Director, Brajesh Maheshwari, this year the IChO was conducted jointly by The Ministry of Education and Science Georgia, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and Association of Professional Chemist of Georgia. Sharvik Mittal, an IIT-JEE classroom programme student from ALLEN, was selected as part of a team of four students to represent India in the final round of 48 International Chemistry Olympiad. The Olympiad was conducted from July 23 to August 1, 2016 and it witnessed the participation of the students from across 80 countries.
