You all must be busy in the last miles of your preparation for CAT. And I am pretty sure many of you must be thinking of “BEING a BAAP” in other management exams like NMAT, SNAP or XAT as you have ruined your CAT preparation.
When you started the course preparation you must have targeted IIM-A or other top ten colleges. And now the situation is you are planning to take any college under TOP50.
But think CAT is the most easiest entrance exam to solve but the problem is competition. you have to solve 20 questions in 70 mins i.e 3.5 min/question and you will surely end up getting at least 90 percentile.
The best thing about CAT (specially section 1) is that it requires skills of calculation and thinking OUT OF THE BOX. In school you all must have learn how to calculate but the problem is thinking OUT OF THE BOX.
OUT OF THE BOX can also be considered as thinking logical or being creative. And in India it is knows as JUGAAD. Seriously take my words if you are good at JUGAAD and a little faster in calculations you can very easily get 85+ percentile in CAT.
And just like you all I am giving CAT this year and i have’nt studied much but i am determined i will get 85+ percentile on the basis of this JUGAAD.
Think out of the box, think that you dont know but you cannot let it happen. You will realize that many questions can be easily done through JUGAAD ( by looking at the options, by some random guess or by any X method that helps you out)
I normally listen to the song “KARLE KARLE JUGAAD” (from the movie FUKREY) every morning and trust me it has built a sense of confidence in me and my JUGAAD quotient has increased tremendously.
This song inspires me and what i suggest you all to listen to the any song what inspires you and then solve questions. You will feel the difference.
Thank you for reading my post and all the very best.
