The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) is a government body responsible for recruiting and selecting personnel for various posts in the government departments and ministries operating in the state of Jharkhand. The JSSC is conducting two main recruitment drives this year- the JANMCE 2019 and the JGGLCCE 2019.
The application process for both these examinations began around the month of September 2019. However, after having received a lot of complaints due to technical problems, the commission has decided to extend the deadline of closing its application portal.
The JSSC has been made aware of the difficulties being faced by a number of applicants in the online uploading of photographs and other important and necessary documents which has prompted them to take the mentioned decision. JSSC published two separate official notifications to declare the extended dates of application for both the exams.
For the JSSC JANMCE 2019 recruitment exam, the new deadline for final registration and application will be 19th October 2019 instead of 4th October 2019. Candidates will be allowed to pay the application fees till 23rd October 2019. The final deadline of uploading photograph and signature online is now 26th October 2019 while for making corrections in the already submitted application is between October 27th to 29th 2019.

The JANMCE 2019 recruitment is being conducted to fill up as many as 1698 vacancies for the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (Regular). Candidates for this post can expect a pay between Rs 5,200 to Rs. 20,200. In order to be selected, one will have to appear for a 1-hour long written exam comprising of 50 questions in the multiple-choice type pattern.

In case of the JGGLCCE 2019 examination, the deadline for final registration has been extended to the 12th November 2019. The last date for payment of application fees would now be 16th November. For the final uploading of photographs and other documents, the deadline has been finalized as 19th of November, and for the submission of revised changes in the application it is November 20th to 22nd.
The JGGLCCE 2019 recruitment process is being conducted to fill around 1140 vacancies for the posts of Assistant Branch Officer, Block Supply Officer, Co-operative Extension Officer, Planning Assistant, etc. The pay scales vary for the different posts. It is also important for candidates to check the eligibility criteria for both the recruitment drives before applying for the posts. The cost of application forms also varies depending on the exam you are applying for as well as on the category you belong to.
