The second round list of Joint Seat
Allocation Authority (JoSAA) was
announced on July 6, 2016. Those candidates who have been allotted seats for
the first time this round must report to the respective reporting centres and
accept the seats. The SBI branches near some of the RCs will remain open on and
9th July 2016.
Despite the days being declared
as holidays on account of Id and banks taking the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the
month off, the State Bank of India branches near the RCs will remain open to
accommodate the payment schedule of students. “Students are requested to check
with SBI, so that they don’t face any inconvenience. Though the bank branches
are likely to remain open during the 3 days of seat acceptance, it will still
be safe to check and plan their reporting.” said K V Krishna.
There are no other alternatives
in case a student fails to report to the centre.
