The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations has invited applications for admissions to undergraduate courses in medical, engineering and other professional streams for the academic session 2016-2017.
The online form fill-up and registration will end on 20.02.2016. Engineering aspirants need to fill up the details and pay the application fee. The payment of application fee can be done through HDFC integrated Payment Gateway which can be used to make payment with any national Credit Card/Debit Card/ or by downloading online generated Bank Challan of J&K Bank or HDFC Bank for depositing the fee amount , in any branch of J&K Bank or HDFC Bank , directly in the Board of Professional Entrance Exam (BOPEE) Account. After submitting the application form, candidates should take printouts of the application form, fee payment and other necessary documents for future use.
The exam will assess students’ knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The exam will consist of 2 papers, Paper 1 will have 60 questions each on Physics and Chemistry while Paper 2 on Mathematics will have 60 questions. Each question will carry one mark for every correct answer and will have a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every incorrect answer. The answer to each of the questions has to be marked on the OMR sheet.
The exam will be conducted on the 14th & 15th May, 2016.
