JEE Mains 2016; the most awaited results for engineering aspirants have
been declared.
To check the results, candidates should go to the CBSE results portal.
They will require to enter their Roll number and
Date of Birth on the results portal to check the score cards.
Cut-off for JEE Advanced 2016 for General category is 100, Other Backward
Classes (OBC-NCL) is 70, Scheduled Caste (SC) is 52, and Scheduled Tribe (ST) is 48.
The order which was followed while choosing top two lakh candidates for
JEE Advanced 2016 is described below.
The break-up for various categories are; 27% for OBC-NCL (54,000
candidates), 15% for SC (30,000 candidates), 7.5% for ST (15,000 candidates)
and the remaining 50.5% is OPEN for all (1,01,000 candidates). And 3%
reservation is available to Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates in each
of the four categories.
Online registration for Advanced begins on April 29, and closes on May
4, 2016. Those who qualified for Advanced 2016 should go to JEE Advanced
website to register.
