The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Unit has released a
public notice on the JEE Mains website today (March 28, 2016) stating that the
entire syllabus of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry has been covered in each
question set. This means that the question paper for JEE Mains 2016 is ready.

The question paper is prepared by dividing the syllabus of
each subject into appropriate number of units and choosing equal number of
questions from each unit. Each year the question paper is set in this pattern
to cover all topics from each subject.

This format was proposed by the Central Board of Secondary
Education (CBSE) in 2013 to ensure that the difficulty level of each set of
question paper is same every year. However, because of this format it has become
difficult for aspirants to segregate between important and less important
topics.

The fourth offline mode JEE will be conducted on April 3,
and in online mode on April 9 and 10, 2016.
