of JEE Mains paper, and Class 12 board performance, where 60% is for Mains

percentile basis.
A public notice released by the JAB on JEE Mains official
portal specified that in case there is an increase in Class 12 board marks due
to re-checking/re-totalling/re-evaluation, it will be considered only if the
revised result data is received from the concerned board.
The notice also stated that e-mails or letters sent by the
candidates regarding increase in board marks will not be entertained. Candidates
are advised to request the concerned board to send the revised result data to Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at the earliest, if not sent by the board
