Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is a public central university in New Delhi, the capital of India. The university is ranked second among the public universities in India, as published by India Today. JNU was established in 1969 by an act of parliament. University is organised into ten schools, each of which has several centres, as well as four independent special centres.
