This Sunday, Game Of Thrones conjures its sixth episode of season 4 and well, truly it was a hell of a roller-coaster ride. It was guilty, guilty of enormous entertainment..so much so that I feel the urge to write this article.

In the initial parts we see mind-boggling cgi effects in the way of Davos and Stannis arriving to the city of Braavos, wherein representatives of the Iron Bank delay their appearance at a meeting. They’re greeted by Tyco Nestoris(Mark Gatiss-remember him playing Sherlock’s brother Mycroft? sure u do!!). After some confrontations we are moved to all the actions taking place in Meeron where Danerys chose to RULE rather than conquering. Some heart wrenching tales of its citizens followed & Danerys justifying hear judgement. Boy, I do miss Daario Naris as he clearly stole thunder away from the gorgeous Emily Clarke quite a few times.

On the other side of the map, it was good to check in with Yara and the Ironborn, who seem largely to have been ignored this season, as well to see the true extent of damage done to Theon Greyjoy’s personality. As tends to be the case with certain book diversions, relatively little seemed accomplished in the scope of the story to have Yara fail in her mission, and ultimately decide to leave Theon behind, but it should be interesting to see what comes of Ramsay’s mission to have Theon “act” as himself, for all the conflict within that could awaken.

Now the most important part of the story where we are presented the trial of Tyrion Lannister wrongly accused for killing vicious Jeoffry Barathon.

It was a tale of a never-ending soul crushing saga that presented one surprise after anther to leave Tyrion heart-wrenched. First the manipulation of Carsei(expected), false speculations of Varys & other key witnesses left a little room for empathy towards the “Judgement”. Even of them called Jeoffery “most innocent gift that worked the earth” it was a LOL moment for even Lannisters. Tywin Lannister used this plot to convince Jaime to return to ruling kingdom instead of being the Kingsguard. When everything seemed perfect for another close escape of Tyrion, SHAE arrives as a key witness.(yup, u heard me right, Tyrions lover who was ship sailed). Her lying testimonial drained Tyrion. “Dont Shae, please dont” was his word. After all of these charade came the most defining moment of the Season. His outbursts to all the Lord & Ladies and his father.

I did not kill Jeoffry, of that I/m innocent but I’ve committed a far more monstrous crime, The Crime of Being a dwarf” he said,”I’ve been in trial for that eveyday of my life!!!”. This must be HBO’s episode which will be sent for Peter Dinklage’s EMMY Nomination. it was terrible, it was nerve-wrecking & it was brilliant. One of the finest acting I’ve seen a long time. The fury, the pent-up anger & the outburst summarized the series which is regarded as best show on TV.

“Watching your(to Carsei) vicious son die gave me pleasures tahn a thousand lying whores”–he fumed. In the end Tyrion renounces any notions of true justice at the hearing, and demands a trial by combat to allow the gods to decide his fate. Tywin & Tyrion had a difficult father-son relationship earlier & tonight it went worse.

All in all a very satisfying episode ranging from an array of emotions This one actually sets up the premises which will explain it easier when(Spoilers Spoilers) Tyrion kills Tywin & Shae brutally.
