What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible, is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are.
With the belief, determination, hard work, confidence and a zeal to perform, five students of IILM GSM, Greater Noida made their mark in the placements and proved their mettle by grabbing International placements.
IMR General Trading FZE (A part of Worlds Window Group) recruited five students of the college as Executive Trainees. They will work in African countries such as South Africa, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Sudan, Mozambique or Angola. The salary package consists of a handsome amount per month, accommodation, local conveyance and a one-month paid (with salary) trip to India with return airfare once in a year.
The job responsibilities that they will shoulder include obtaining quotations and negotiating price, coordinating local logistics and shipping lines, supervising the loading of material, handling local labour and involving in shipping matters. They will also be trained for higher opportunities.
The selected students are PGDM students who specialised in marketing. They have good communication and technical skills, negotiation skills, a flair for field jobs, are well versed with Microsoft Excel, posses knowledge in the Materials Management area and have working knowledge of Sales and Marketing.
The placement will provide the students with international exposure and a start which others just dream of. We congratulate our students and pray for their bright future. With this placement a new chapter of IGSMs glory has begun.
