HR Department at ITM Business School, Kharghar organised an Industrial Visit at Parle Products Pvt Ltd on 21st July 2018 for PGDM-HR students. Objective of the visit was to introduce the students on HR functions in general and those applicable to manufacturing set ups in particular.
Mr. Kishore Shelke- Head Industrial Relations and Mr. Hemant Kondhalkar-Assistant manager-HR at Parle Products Pvt. Ltd. oriented the students on Parle Culture and the manufacturing processes followed in the organisation. They further deliberated on the HR Policies and Practices including Talent Acquisition, Organisational Behaviour, Compensation Benefit, Industrial relation etc followed in the organisation. They also stressed on importance and employee engagement and its impact on organisational performance. Students also got a chance to have a look at the manufacturing unit and the employees at work. The experience was truly enriching the budding HR managers and had the great learning to carry forward such as the Unique HR practices (Parle Darshan, Parle home visit, Parle Portal etc), 5S Japanese workplace methodology etc.
